Come and join in the fun with this monthly meeting club. Members only access to:

* Cricut cartridge library (adding new ones monthly)
* Access to buying cartridges at a discount

* Show and Tell
* Sharing different ideas on how to use the cricut
* Learn a different technique demonstrated by Liz
* Work on your projects
* 3 hours of scrapping time

This class is geared for the novice. If you are not feeling confident with your cricut machine this class is for you. Taking this class you will leave confident knowing...

* Care and preservation's of the mats
* Basic operation
* Settings for the blade
* How to use the buttons/overlays
* Explain and demonstrate mode keys
* Explain function keys
* Settings - how to program
* Cutting adjustment keys

Registration is limited so every student has ample time during class to leave feeling confident with knowledge. Stop by the store or call to register.

New Product: Valentine Lines





I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. I just wanted to share some of the new product in the store. We have new Valentines lines in the store and they are simply gorgeous. Making Memories Je T' Adore, Echo Park Be Mine and Little Yellow Bicycle Cupcake Love. Come in the store and see these lines before they are gone, we already had to re-order the Echo Park paper packs.

January 15, 2011 : Game Show Crop

I've always LOVED game shows. Especially The Price is Right. That's right, we're going to tell you to COME ON DOWN!! Get ready to play big and win big at our January crop. Our crops typically sell out in less than an hour, so please plan ahead to reserve your spot!

When: Saturday, January 15th from 8 am – midnight

Lifes' Artistry with Donna Downey : Mixed Media Scrapbooking

In this workshop, you will learn techniques and tips for creating an eight page 8x10 mixed media scrapbook.  The book si comprised of multi-surface and textured pages that may surprise you.  The use of color, fabrics, papers, moments captured and artistic style art journaling make it unique and truly individualized to each student.

Supplies: Apron, painting towel/rag - it will get messy!, 1" paint brush, small detail brush for watercolor (about a size 7 round brush), glass jar, mug or brush bucket (for holding dirty brushes), box cutter (optional - used to distress the cardboard edges), 5 pages of book text, roll of 1" masking tape, craft/fabric glue, black India ink - recommend: Dr. Ph. Martin's Bombay India Inks, large spray bottle (to spray for water drippage), black Stazon ink pad, antique linen distress ink and applicator tool, rubbing alcohol (cleans the pen nib between uses), baby wipes if you are messy!, watercolor paints, crayons or pans - recommend: Windsor and Newton, fabric scissors, liquid scrap dots or pop dots, 12-15 photos (optional, but recommended - mix of wallet sized and 4x6s).

The workshop everyone asked Donna to create and EVERYONE has been wanting to take at Remember When is finally here.  Filled with flowers and color you will learn the basic techniques of drippage, layering textures as well as color to create your own wearable apron art piece. 
 
Supplies: Iron + ironing surface, fabric glue (helmar 450 quick dry), spray bottle, heat gun, towel to clean up water drippage, apron to wear (optional).

Learn the basics of color washing, alter fabric flowers and dimensional layering techniques as you learn to transform literally a blank canvas into a unique mixed media scrapbooking layout that will showcase your heartfelt sentiments and the creativity of your artist within.

Supply list: Foam brush, baby wipes, spray bottles, iron, heat guns, towel for drippage, (1) 4x6 photo (black and white OR color).
